The Floral Footsteps Delivery Van
If you follow my tweets, then you may already know about Avril. Avril is the latest addition to the family, and the latest business acquisition. She is our bright yellow (ambulance yellow, custard yellow, banana yellow, highlighter yellow – whichever you fancy) t25 campervan. We bought her from a lady called Avril in April, so it seemed appropriate to rename her that.
Avril need a bit of work, but she runs sweetly (after a little bit of tweaking at Fred Hendersons) and is the official floristry van. She’ll brighten up anyones day as she chugs along, particularly if she’s full to the brim of gorgeous flowers, which I think is how she likes to be best. (Unless, of course she has a roofrack fitted, has surfboards attached, has hot chocolate warming on the hob and is parked at the beach. That might be how she prefers to be, but I have yet to ask her.)
And NO I will not be painting black flowers on the outside of the van. I’m trying for a slightly classier feel. I don’t know if you can make bright yellow ‘classy’ but I’m going to try. I’ll keep you posted with my progress.
Durhamites, keep a lookout for this lively van!
She might even make an appearance for June Project 2011, if I let her.
p.s. – what do you think of my new logo? I’m not sure what I think of it yet. I’m interested to hear your feedback. This one is a proper vector one. Took me like flippin’ ages to do it.

maybe you could put up a picture of the old logo so we can do a comparison

You can see the original hand-drawn logo on my Flickr Illustrations page. Let me know your thoughts!

Compared to the original, it looks a lot more professional (because of the 'cleaner' lines of the font? The original looks very homely though
Not sure which look you're going for! Between the both of them, I think 'FOOTSTEPS' looks nicer in the second one but I'm undecided about "FLORAL" xxx

Thanks Lee Mey. I think you've hit the nail on the head there. I don't know what it is about the newer "Floral" bit, but you're right – it's not quite right. I'll have a think and see if I can amend it! Appreciate your comments xx
