Zesty Bouquets, Poppies and Paperwhites

Gloriously golden bouquets to kick off the Spring stream of weddings!  The bridesmaids wore a bright shade of teal, and these zesty, warm bouquets offset the colours perfectly.  I can’t wait to see the photos back from the wedding itself.

The Groom was from Orange County, California, so the Bride wanted to incorporate citrus fruits and golden yellows and oranges.  I snuck a few kumquats in the bouquets, and spent what felt like a lifetime slicing 100 oranges and 30 lemons, lining goldfish vases.  The result was gorgeous, and the theme really came alive.

I used some Oriental Poppies, and gorgeous, gorgeous Paperwhite Narcissi in the bouquets, both of which filled my heart with tingles of excitement!  Flowers are amazing.
