A Classic Cotswolds Spring Wedding

The beautiful Flo & Rupert’s wedding oozed classic style with oodles of joy. They were an absolute delight to spend the day with, and after their engagement photography in Minchinhampton in the pouring rain, I knew it was going to be a fun day, whatever the weather!

The Bride got ready at her family home near Stroud, surrounded by her beautiful bridesmaids dressed in a stunning shade of dark navy blue.

The Ceremony

The Bridesmaids, Bride and Bridal family arrived at St Mary’s Painswick, a stunning church in the Cotswolds.

I was absolutely in love with the bridal bouquets, made by the very talented Saltbox based in the Cotswolds. I loved the spring fritillaries, the tulips, narcissus. It was all stunning!

The Bride entered the church and the Groom was overwhelmed. These two grinned all the way through the service!

Just Married

Outside, a storm had passed whilst we were in the ceremony, so the air was all post-storm heavy and fragrant. I loved the light post ceremony!

The Happy Couple

The Reception took place at the stunning Eastington Park, which is now solely used for weddings. It’s beautiful and the grounds are extensive, so we had a lovely time exploring! It was also an uncharacteristically warm sunny day in April, and finally the blossoms were out!

The Reception

Back to Eastington Park house for the group shots – the smiliest Bride and Groom were still smiling!

Inside the venue, the intimate dining room was set up with beautiful spring florals, and a theme of ‘bears’ for “Rupert Bear and Flo-bear”

The reception went on into the evening, with many smiles to be had over a lovely wedding breakfast.
