Iain and Rebecca’s wonderful wedding day was glorious! The warm, late September sunshine, the intimate barn venue for just 40 special guests, the laughter, fun and celebration of love of these two.
Those gorgeous autumnal hues, and lovely soft dried grass in the field opposite the beautiful wedding venue in the Cotswolds made for the perfect spot for some photos of the happy couple.
The intimate wedding ceremony took place at Cirencester Baptist Church, in the Forum there. The Bride and Groom said their vows in front of their family and friends, and occasionally joined by their beautiful daughter who is not quite two.
Back to the reception venue, the stunning Cats Abbey Barn, just big enough for the 40 guests at the wedding, most of whom also stayed at the beautiful barn venue. It really was the perfect setting, in the secluded Cotswold countryside, and lovely surroundings, gardens and rooms for their guests to mill around. A beautiful intimate wedding.
The dining room was particularly stunning, with the sunlight streaming in through the french windows.
The guests all sat down for their meal, and celebrated with french wine.
They had fabulous guest book slips for guests to fill in, which made a lovely ice-breaker. Even I was asked to fill one in! I love being included as one of the guests!
As the sun begins to set, so the venue transformed from relaxed intimate country wedding venue, to party celebration venue! Lights courtesy of Harry Jerome Sound & Lighting.
I had the pleasure of doing the ‘double whammy’ at this wedding, as after I had finished photographing, my band were booked for the function band that evening! (me on the far right there, looking like the complete odd one out!) We are the fabulous Mac and Cheese band, based in Gloucestershire.
Such a fun and beautiful day – thank you so much Iain and Rebecca for asking me to share it with you and photograph you all!
