On a rare stunning Spring day in April, I travelled to the wonderful city of Canterbury to photograph a very special, sparkly wedding!
The bridesmaids got ready together at the Bride’s family home in Canterbury, and wore the most fabulous swishy, sparkling navy blue full length bridesmaids dresses.
The bride’s beautiful gown was beaded and intricately detailed and needed a good deal of lacing up at the back!
Everyone was thrilled to see the bride, Sarah in her beautiful dress!
At the church, St Mary Bredin, Canterbury which was the location for both the ceremony and the reception, the sparkling bridesmaids were eagerly waiting for the Bride to arrive. I found my new favourite thing to ask bridesmaids to do – spin around whilst I take photos! *swish swiiiish* Also, how adorable are the stunning flower girls?
The Bride arrives!
The ceremony was beautiful and heartfelt and took place in the airy venue of St Mary Bredin, Canterbury, which the bridal party had decorated themselves as the reception was there too!
Congratulations to the wonderful new Mr & Mrs!
The Bride and Groom shared a few moments alone in the gardens of the church, before entering again as Mr & Mrs for their wedding breakfast. There was a magnificent magnolia tree in the grounds, that I fell in love with!
A few group shots in, and there were still plenty of smiles to be had.
The Wedding Breakfast
The church is rearranged for the wedding breakfast…
Into the Evening…
The evening goes on with live music from Function Fever, the first dance of the new Mr & Mrs and a dance off competition later was a good laugh!
